Search Continues for Permanent Replacement

Washington, DC, December 7, 2017 – The Community Mortgage Lenders of America (CMLA), announced today that Rob Zimmer will become Acting Executive Director effective January 1, 2018. (Read as pdf)

CMLA Chair Sean O’Neill stated that “the Board of Directors is pleased that Rob agreed to serve as Acting Executive Director. We are confident that CMLA will be in very good hands under Rob’s capable leadership during this transition.”

O’Neill said that CMLA’s Search Committee will continue to review candidates with the goal of finding a permanent replacement for retiring Executive Director Glen Corso as soon as possible.

Zimmer serves as CMLA’s Head of External Relations and has been with CMLA since 2009. He has been an integral part of CMLA’s mission to advance the interests of small and mid-size lenders and the customers whose home finance needs they serve.
